Introducing: Oaktown Manor

We'd been wanting to move to Oakland for about 9 months when we finally saw what we now lovingly call Oaktown Manor. It was a bit rough around the edges (paint peeling, old tiling, plaster exposed) but had good bones and landlord open to us updating ourselves, so we took it. Here are some photos we took on our first visit.

Entryway:

Living room:

Working fireplace!

Dining room:
Lovely original china cabinet.

Kitchen:

Check out the original linoleum! That will be updated by the time we move in.

Breakfast nook:
Turquoise.

Bathroom:

To be office:
You can't quite tell from the picture, but there are actually two colors of green--one hunter green the other a sage.

To be bedroom:
Lilac.

The garage/workspace/mancave:

The backyard:

Most certainly some interesting color choices amalgamated from previous tenants and the landlord himself, but again, good bones and a very good starting place!
